He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Edeal and Arlene Edeal (Pullen); his son Alan Dean Edeal; his parents-in-law, Alfred and Mary Stute; his sister Karen Kander; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Hansen, Royce Stute and Dennis Schroeder.

He is survived by: his family Loomis; his wife Kay Edeal of Shawnee, Kansas; his children, David Edeal (Sarah) of Lenexa, Kansas, Mary Reimers (Jeremy) of Timnath, Colorado and Stuart Edeal (Diane) of Mendota Heights, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Julia, William, Lauren, Nathan Edeal, Taylor Morgan (Corey) of Kearney, Emily, Grace Reimers and Frank Edeal; his siblings, Brian Edeal (Teri) of Overton, Arlin Edeal (Jean) of Johnson Lake, Nebraska and Eldeana Boals (Randy) of Sutton, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Kander of Brainerd, Minnesota, Alfreda Schroeder of Aurora, Colorado, Tim Hansen of Cozad, Nebraska and Marsha Stute of Littleton, Colorado. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
