She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hemelstrand and Joan Hemelstrand (Childers); her daughter Monica Joelynn; her husband Mac McClain; her brother-in-law Odell Hester; and her brother Johnny Hemelstrand.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Derk William (Shannon Pickett) of Hastings, Nebraska, Jonathan Wayne, Jessica McClain (Josh Jones) of Red Cloud, Nebraska and Jon McClain (Brittany) of Overton, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Hunter, Izabella McClain, Logan, Aiden McClain, Hannah, Hailey McClain, Catilynn and Mary Grashorn; her sister Julie Monter (Charles) of Aurora, Nebraska; her siblings-in-law, Wayne Crenshaw (Louise) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Anna of Little Rock, Arkansas; and also Martin McClain (Susan) of Millington, Tennessee. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, other relatives and friends.
