He was predeceased by: his brother David Chandler; and his grandfathers, Rodney Swanson and Edsel Chandler. He is survived by: his parents, Roger Chandler and Lana Chandler (Swanson) of Loomis; his daughters, Carsyn and Payton Chandler of Kenesaw; his fiancée Jessica Miller of Loomis; his fiancée's children, Alex, Janice and Elaina; his brother Eric Chandler of Loomis; his grandmothers, Agnes Chandler of Elwood and RoseAnn Swanson of Holdrege; and his aunts and uncles, Robert Chandler of Smithfield, Brad Swanson (Jana) of Manhattan, Kansas, Rory Swanson (Mary) of Manhattan, Kelly Swanson (Barb) of Alma, Corinne Reiss of Smithfield, Shirley Terry (Mark) of Denton, Nebraska and Linda Minarick (Ted) of Morse Bluff, Nebraska. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (1419 East Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jon's honor at First State Bank of Loomis.
