She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence O'Leary and Mary O'Leary (O'Neil); her husband John W. Peterson; her sons, Jack Peterson, Dennis Peterson, Kevin Peterson and Ben Peterson; her daughter-in-law Nancy Peterson; her grandchildren, Michelle Reyna and Jeff Peterson; and her siblings, Gordon O'Leary, Dan O'Leary, Lorin O'Leary, Ursula Jackson, Geraldine Hollandsworth and Audrey Anthes.
She is survived by: her children, Luann Reyna of Lockhart, Linell Lane of Marble Falls, Tom Peterson (Tracy) of Millsap, Lynette Grach (Bart) of Austin and Leann Berg (Mark) of Loomis, Nebraska; her daughter-in-law Teresa Peterson of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren, Carlos Reyna (Lauren), Mike Reyna (Melissa), Cynthia Silguero (Joel), Gabriel Reyna, Billy Joe Stewart (Monica), Karrie Werth (Rob), Timothy Peterson, Brian Lane, Karen Lane, Jason Peterson (Jessica), Emily Peterson, Charly Peterson, John O'Leary (Lacy), Megan Schoener (Randy), Ben Peterson (Brianna), Michael Wiles, Timothy Berg (Adrienne), Rebecca Colbert (Eric) and Amanda Berg; and her brother Robert O'Leary (Debbie). She is also survived by 48 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family's request is that contributions be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church in Loomis, Nebraska to further God's work in the small community that Evelyn loved very much.
