With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel A. (Nelson) North of Long Pine, Nebraska, who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Ethel A. shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ethel A. farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her son Ed North (Shari) of Emmet, NE.; and her sisters, Leta Schuebel of Wheatland, WY and Wilma Appleman (Robert) of Johnstown, NE..
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Hoch Funeral Homes Inc. (1320 E 4th St, Ainsworth, NE 69210). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (654 Main St, Long Pine, NE 69217).
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family in Ethel's name for a future designation.
