It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Bartling of Lodgepole, Nebraska, born in Chappell, Nebraska, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bartling and Matilda Bartling (Scharrel); his wife Ruth Barnhart; his brothers, Lloyd (Bud) and Vernon; his niece Lori Bartling; and his great grandchild Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie (Rich Bond) of Cambridge, NE, Mark (Rita Bartling) of Lodgepole, NE, John (Katie Bartling) of Douglas, WY, Julie Koza of Scottsbluff, NE, Matt (Tammy Bartling) of Kearney, NE, Kristina (Doran Bush) of Kimball, NE and Robert (Kerri Bartling) of Elm Creek, NE; and his siblings, Gary Bartling of Potter, NE and Doris (Ray Walker) of Glenrock, WY. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; six great-grand children an many extended family and friends.
Memorials have been established to the Grace Community Fellowship, the Alzheimer's Association or the LAM Foundation. In lieu of flowers, Marvin's family requests donations be given to memorials of your choice.
