She was predeceased by: her parents, Denzel Hermsen and Lorraine Hermsen (Tagtow). She is survived by: her son Travis Leffers of Omaha; her brothers, Robert, Sam, Dan and Fred Hermsen; and her uncle Vern Hermsen of Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
