He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Morton and Winifred Morton (Paddock). He is survived by: his caregiver Patty; and his children, Mike Morton, Sr., Mark Morton (Cece) and Debbie Laughlin (Drew).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (222 Maple St, Abie, NE 68001). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the S. S. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery (222 Maple St, Abie, NE 68001).
