Syring Jr. of Linwood, Nebraska, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on October 31, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin J. Syring, Sr. and Aurelia Syring (Scheel); his wife Jean Fricke; his in-laws, Ben and Arlene Fricke; his siblings, Nicolaus (Patricia), Herbert, Joseph Syring, Anthony and Angeline Timmerman (David); and his granddaughter Stephanie Syring.
He is survived by: his children, Karla Brezina (Chuck), Andrea Carey (Mike), Benjamin J. Syring, III (Mary) of St. Paul and Father Andrew Syring of Linwood; his adoptive son Ramie Zastera; his siblings, Virginia Sanchez of Houston, Bernadette Sullivent (Bob) of Houston, Martha Syring of Houston, Mary Ellis of Houston, Arthur Syring (Venia), Stephen Syring (Kathy), Jerome Syring of San Antonio and James Syring (Patti); his grandchildren, Aleesha Roehrs (Josh), Levi Syring (Rebecca Bentz), Jakob Syring, Caleb Brezina, Josiah Brezina, Alayna, Isaac, Brady Carey, Kelly, Raymond and Anthony Zastera; his great grandchildren, Rhett, Ellie Roehrs and Tatum Syring; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Syring of Bellwood and Brenda Syring of David City; his in-laws, JoAnn Messing (John), Shelby, Teresa Fricke of Kansas City, MO, Marcia Dittfurth (Larry) of College Station, TX, Mary (Matt) and Dan Fricke Lincoln (Darcee); and his pet Chuey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
