Wilma C. Martin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 91, Wilma C. Martin of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph O. Knapp and Anna W. Knapp (Freudenburg); her former husband Edwin "Ed" J. Martin of John's Lutheran Church; her husband Leland "Lee" F. Hittner; and her siblings, Dorothea Enterline, Erwin Knapp, Lorraine Laskowski, Eugene Knapp and Adolph Knapp Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jon W. Martin (Debbie) of Boise, ID, Lisa D. Martin-Price (Ron) of Lincoln and Camilla S. Hurst (Lou) of Lincoln; her brother Ronald "Ron" F. Knapp (Linda) of Dallas, TX; her sister-in-law Gloria Knapp of Madison, NE; her nephew William; and also Patti Becher (Todd) of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one step-grandson, and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel (4300 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (510 S 33rd St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at the Lincoln Memorial Park (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
