He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Ahlschwede (Todd Wyatt) and Tom Ahlschwede (Keri Applebee); his grandsons, Jakob and Nikolas Ahlschwede; and his siblings, George, Rob Ahlschwede and Carolyn Samson.
