William Dennis Britten Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Dennis Britten of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on January 10, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Britten and Agnes Britten (Delaney); his wife Laurie Britten (Vosberg); and his brothers, Roger and Francis Britten.
He is survived by: his children, Nate Britten of Lincoln and Nicole Britten of Lincoln; his siblings, Joe Britten (Sharon) of Grand Island, Theresa Compton of Jacksonville, FL and Cecelia Schultz (Dan) of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Pam Britten of Omaha and Vicki Britten of Lincoln. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (4325 Sumner St, Lincoln, NE 68506).
A consummate woodworker in his spare time, Dennis built and reburbished furniture, much of which he donated to charity.
