He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Beams and Maude Beams (Anderson); his wife Patricia; and his brothers, David and Russell Beams.

He is survived by: his children, David Beams of Omaha, NE and Kathy Abbink (Ken) of Burr, NE.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Westminster Presbyterian Church or Nebraska Wesleyan University.
