With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Waechter (Lincoln, Nebraska), born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on August 3, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Heim and Regina Heim (Schueller); her husband Carl Waechter; and her siblings, Clarence, Kenny, Eddie, Dick, John, Timmy Heim and Betty Jewett.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Waechter of Lincoln, NE, Carolyn Waechter of Dubuque, IA, Henry Waechter (Tami) of Grand Island, NE, Kevin Waechter (Geri) of Lincoln, NE, Steven Waechter of Hartley, IA, Douglas Waechter (Jody) of Cuba City, WI and Karla Walker (Troy) of Sun Prairie, WI; and her siblings, Robert Heim of East Dubuque, IL, Diane Weis of Dubuque, IA. and Danny Heim of Dubuque, IA.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials for Vivian C. Waechter may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society and St. Croix Hospice in Nebraska.
