Thomas Calvert Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2024, at the age of 90, Thomas Calvert of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Pierce, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Calvert and Blanche Calvert (Larson); his brother Alfred Calvert; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Calvert. He is survived by: his friend Wesleyan University of Nebraska; his wife Nancy; his children, Beth Kagan (Larry), Dr. Kathy Calvert (Jim Wiese), Dr. Tom Calvert (Lisa) and Michael Calvert (Cori); his grandchildren, Sam Morrisette-Calvert (Sarah), Clare Morrisette-Calvert (Mario), Ryan Harbaugh (Jen), Parker Harbaugh (Rebekkah), Sarah Young (Ramsey), Chloe Kagan, Mili Kagan, Jacob Calvert (Ashley) and Ethan Calvert (Prerona); his sister Gretchen Klippenstein (Jack); his great grandchildren, Polly Robin Morrisette, Gavin Harbaugh, Lennox, Carson Harbaugh, Rowan and Ayla Young; and his children, First-Plymouth Congregational Church and Wesleyan University of Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Lincoln Children's Zoo, First-Plymouth Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, or Nebraska Wesleyan University.
