She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Amos and Pearl Amos; her former husband Paul Steeves; her husband Robert Barrett; her son Richard Steeves; and her siblings, Carl "Dick" Amos, JoAnn Essman and Jacki Nispel.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Krajnik (Greg) of Lincoln and Dennis Steeves of Kansas City, Missouri; her grandson Paul Pape (Amy) of Kearney, Nebraska; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Hattie and Elsie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
