He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlandis Roth and Marie Roth; and his sister Karen Buhman. He is survived by: his children, Amelia Roth and Mason Roth; his sister Patt Harper (Randy Hindman); and his brother-in-law Jim Buhman.

“I was shocked and greatly saddened by the news of the passing of Steve Roth. Steve was a great guy and excellent at whatever he did. I met him when he was the voice of the Beatrice Orangeman. I was a Coach and Teacher there at the high school. He was such a great guy and was one of my best friends while I lived there. Steve will be missed by everyone who knew him. My condolences and sympathies go out to his family and all his friends. Mike Kuwitzky”
