We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025, at the age of 70, Shelley Portis (Lincoln, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Don Herrington; and her brother-in-law Tom Shepard. She is survived by: her husband Jim Portis; her daughter Paula Carlson (Scott); her grandchildren, Katey Jambor (Tyler), Hayden, Kennedy and Leah Carlson; her great grandchildren, Penelope and Amelia Jambor; her mother Kathy Herrington; and her siblings, Donna Shepard, Julie Meyer (Jim) and Mike Herrington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society, or Friendship Home.
