Russell Herstein Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, Russell Herstein of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Helen, Leonard Humlicek, Gladys and Ed Herstein; his uncles, Jim and Jerald Humlicek; and his pet Hugo.

He is survived by: his daughters, Olivia and Aubrey; his sister Andrea; his brother-in-law Michael Berry; his niece Linley; his mother Patricia Humlicek Herstein; his aunts and uncles, Jenny (Jack Herstein), John (Mary Humlicek), Bob Humlicek, Linda (Wayne Penney), Kay (Dave Duncan), Theresa Humlicek, Denise Humlicek and Wendy Lewis; and his great-aunts, Mae Safranek and Dolores Janecek.

Memorials may be made to the family to be used for his daughters' education or to the Capital Humane Society.
