It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell A. Williss of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Williss and Celestine Williss (Cripe); and his siblings, Robert Williss, Mary Fanders and Marjorie Borgerding.

He is survived by: his sons, David C. Williss and John R. Williss (Cassie Day); his wife Jean Wilcox; his grandchildren, Katy Bremer (Jordan), John Williss (Kelsey), Benjamin Williss, Rachel Williss and Andrew Williss; and his sister Shirley Jirovec (Richard). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ Lincoln (5640 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68504).
