He is survived by : his wife Jeanette "Jean"; his children, Bob Evans, Jr. (Bridgette) of Colleyville, TX, Cindy Pickel (Jack), Rick Evans (Anita) and Sue Congleton (Drew) of Montgomery, TX; and his grandchildren, Neal Evans, Jeremy Evans, Luke Evans, Delicia Dickson (Matt), Ross Pickel, Garrett Pickel, Tif Gil (Brian), Jen Nurbabayev (Alex), Libby Evans, Justin Dibbern (Sarah) and Ben Dibbern.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the CST Bethel Baptist Church (1401 S 77th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). A burial was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Omaha National Cemetery.
