He was predeceased by: his parents, George Denton and Trientje Ackerman Denton; his parents-in-law, Martin H. and Syliva K. Roebke; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Roebke (Shirley) of Martin, J. E, Roebke Jr. and Roger Itzen.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Roebke of Beatrice; his son John Denton (Julie) of Owasso, OK; his grandsons, Logan Kent Denton and Peyton John Denton of Owasso, OK; his brother Ron Denton (Fran) of Beatrice; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Itzen of Beatrice. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A prayer was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:45 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (321 N 10th St, Beatrice, NE 68310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
