He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Springer and Ethel Springer; his wife Lila; his granddaughter Ellie Sabata; and his siblings, Samuel, David, Doris, Raymond, Betty and Golden.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Sabata (Bob) and Cory Springer (Catherine); his grandchildren, Matthew Sabata (Abbie), Father Seth Sabata, Ethan Sabata (Victoria), Jocelyn (Houston Braukman) and Jaclyn Springer; his stepgrandsons, Owen West, James, Nathan and Lucas Rohr; his great grandchildren, Palmer, Decker and Oliver Sabata; and his sister-in-law Faye Joan Springer. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
