He is survived by: his wife Joleen Van Dyke; his daughter Karen Troester (Parolek); his son-in-law Justin Troester; his grandson Gabriel Allen; and his siblings, Patrick Parolek, Mary Ann Ornelas (Joe), Paul Parolek (Linda), David Parolek and Ronald Parolek. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
