She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Quimby and Georgia Quimby (Smith); her husband Dick Putney (Richard); her sons, Alan and Ray; her daughter-in-law Dona Quimby; her granddaughter Anne Quimby Mathias; her great grandchildren, Drew Ralston and Danny Hoffman; and her great great grandchild Cayleigh Pepper Ralston.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Quimby of Milwaukee, WI and Polly Putney of Lincoln, NE; her daughter-in-law Patricia Putney of Lincoln, NE; and her nieces, Sherry Glab and Lynne Nevins of California. She is also survived by five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Christian Church (430 S 16th St, Lincoln, NE 68508). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
