Paul Weinert Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Weinert in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Weinert and Verena Weinert (Malcolm); his former wife Donna Lee Sickel; his siblings, Mary Jean, Virginia and James; and his siblings-in-law, Jack, Don and Pat.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane; his brother Charles; his children, Sue Weinert, Tom Weinert (Gayle), Carol Thomas (John), Greg Weinert (Heidi) and Mary Beth Smith (Craig); his grandchildren, Drew Smith (Ashley), Sarah Huppert (Jake), Noah Smith (Sabrina), Jesse Weinert, Sophia Weinert, Malcolm Weinert, Cambria Weinert and Tristan Weinert; and his stepgreat-grandchild Thomas Hargis. He is also survived by step-children and step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, countless students and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dorr & Clark Funeral Home (2303 Harlan St, Falls City, NE 68355). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Global Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to family choice for later designation.
