He is survived by: his wife Maxine Peterson; his daughter Kay Grauf of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Matthew Johnston, Paul Johnston of Kansas City, Jessica Hodges (Grauf) of Lincoln, Jeremy, Jackie Grauf of Omaha, Aimee (Grauf), Josh Wallace of St. Louis, Christopher Grauf of Lincoln and Gabriel Grauf of Lincoln; his sister-in-law Patricia Peterson (Mahoney); and his nieces and nephews, Vernon James (Marvel Nelson), Wesley (Connie Nelson), Julie (Jim Nelson), Evie Nelson (Barbara) of Holdrege, John Clinch (Bonnie Peterson) of Grand Island and Darcy Jones (Stephen Peterson).
