He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hansen and Mathilde Christine Hansen (Johnson); his wife Carol; and his siblings, Keith, Mervin "Dale" and Norma Norgard.

He is survived by: his children, David Hansen (Martha), Lauri Cayou (Robert) of Lincoln, Janelle Hansen of Lincoln, Karen Foudray of Lincoln, Debra Hansen of Lincoln and Marci Kudrna (Scott); his grandchildren, Aaron Hansen (LeeAnn), Christa Anderson (Christopher) of Yukon, OK, Ashley Moeller (Justin), Dallas Foudray (Melissa), Amanda Kudrna and Bailey Brown (Dylan); and his great grandchildren, Ike, Eisley, Ailer Hansen, Alexa, Serena, Kierra Anderson of Yukon, OK, Kennedy Moeller and Elijah Brown.
