With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norvel L. Jacobs (Lincoln, Nebraska), who passed away on September 7, 2018 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Jean Jacobs; his daughter Janis Jacobs; and his siblings, John Jacobs, Betty Brown, Margaret Phillips and Helen Chastain.

He is survived by: his son Mark Jacobs (Joanne) of Des Moines; his son-in-law Wayne Osgood of State College; his grandchildren, Erin, Sam, Logan and Gretchen; and his great grandchild Grayden.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Wednesday (9/12) at 2nd Baptist Church, 525 N 58th St In lieu of flowers, memorials to 2nd Baptist Church or Camp Moses Merrill.
