With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Huerta in Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Domsus (Violet Mae Huerta) and Edward (Joyce Schwannecke); his brother Stephen Huerta; and his niece Kristin Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Leslie; his children, Robert Huerta and Jessica Philpot (Chas); his siblings, Robert Huerta (Kim) and Rose Ross (Larry); his grandchildren, Aeva, Amara, Aaliyah and Abigail; his brothers, Edward (Sue Schwannecke) and Jina Huerta; his nieces and nephews, Brian, Edward, Kandice, Kimberly, Amber, Stephanie and Heather; and also Xavier.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (5200 R St, Lincoln, NE 68504).
