He is survived by: his close friends, Ron Runyan and Chad Francisco; his wife Dena Mathias; his siblings, Deborah Caris (Mike) of Plymouth, MN, Brenda Steinkamp of Lincoln, NE and Mark Cook of Dallas, TX.; his nieces and nephews, Jason Caris (Marie), Jeff Caris (Christine), Joshua Caris, Jonathan Caris (Melissa), Eric Steinkamp (Mollie), Carsen Cook (Sydney), Adam Cook (Zoey), Andrew Cook, Shad Miller, Brook Rote (Brian), Dara Smith (Conan), Gina Barber (Gary), Rachel Dostal (Jake), Kerry Julian and Madisen Cook; his aunt Linda; his uncle William Allee of Greencastle, IN.; his cousins, Cynthia Knotts (Kevin) of Indiana, Tamara Allee Teresa (Charles Crowder) of Indiana and Veda Jean Tobias of Indiana; and his pet Winslow.
