She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Larry; her sons, Matthew and James; her stepdaughter Elizabeth; her granddaughter Taitlyn; her siblings, Cheryl, Cindy and Jim Johnson; and her parents, Melvin Johnson and Cherie Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
