It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Jakubowski of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Loup City, Nebraska, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Laudie Schnase and Anna Schnase (Schachta); her husband Francis L Jakubowski (Jake); her siblings, Frank Schnase, Edward Schnase, Paul Schnase, Fred Schnase, Clara Olson, Anna Krolikowski and Helen Almgren; and her grandson Brett Jakubowski.
She is survived by: her close friend Eunice; her children, Sharon Owen of North Platte, NE, Joyce Ackles (Rich) of Morrison, CO, Bruce Jakubowski of Denver, CO, James Jakubowski (Shelly) of Lincoln, NE and Bradley Jakubowski of Port Matilda, PA; and her sister Frances Sock of Genoa, NE.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
