She was predeceased by: her parents, Elishie Bass and Annie Lee "Percy" Bass (Esco); her husband George Okra; her brother Charles Bass; her brothers-in-law, Reuben Hardaway and Allen Junior Wilks; her sisters, Shirley Hardaway and Ruthie Wilks; and her sister-in-law Shirley Bass.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca J. Holmes (Jerome), Geroge Randy Okra, Gerald R. Okra and Sharon A. Okra; her grandchildren, Darnell Okra (Anna), Damarcus Okra (Chezare), Oscar Okra, Tearra Okra, Jamiah Holmes, Alexander Goll, Erishai Okra, Odicei Okra, Geniah Story and Jaraye Huguley; her siblings, Delbert Bass (Shirley) and Mina Sims (Bobby Sr); her sister-in-law Helen Bass; and her children, Phyllis Ruybal and Patrick Thompson.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lincoln Family Funeral Care (5849 Fremont St, Lincoln, NE 68507).
