Lynn Lightner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Lightner of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank S. Lightner and Emma K. Lightner (Landan); his sister Corinne Cumming; his siblings-in-law, Lyle Cumming and Edith Lightner; his grandson Nicholas Lightner; his nephew Kent Cumming; and his stepson Kevin Blunt.
He is survived by: his brother Jim; his children, Shelley, Nanette, Kenneth, Julie, Debra and Laurie; his spouse Beverly Cirksena (Howland); his child Karmin Wilson; and his grandchildren, T. J. Thorpe (Kiley), Jennifer Ferretti (Ryan), William Thorpe (Veronica), Shane Stanard, Morgan Emma Wooster (Brandon), Andrew McClure (Megan), Katherine McClure, Joseph McClure, Madeline Trofholz (Ben), Paige Dimakos, Jared Dimakos, Bella Washington, Gage Wilson, Easton Blunt, Shane Miller (Jessica) and Justin Miller (Katie).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the CST Roper & Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
