Wenzl and Christine Wenzl (Christen); his wife Susan Settles (Sue); his siblings, Paul Wenzl (Mary), Leo Wenzl, Mary Ann Wagner, Donald Wenzl (Bonnie), Bernice Beals (Max) and Luke Wenzl; and his in-laws, Eva Wenzl, Jean Wenzl, Mike Settles (Sally) and Charlotte Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Ralph Wenzl of Peyton, CO, Larry Wenzl (Sherry) of Norfolk, NE, Connie Ernst (Dan) of Carrollton, TX and Tim Wenzl of Peyton, CO.; his grandchildren, Gina Johns (Matt), Tyler Wenzl (Brooke), Miranda Wenzl, Christine Calvo (Leo) and Leo Ernst; his great grandchildren, Evie, Noah, Witt, Bryar and Lane; his brothers, Jim Wenzl, Tony Wenzl (Carol) of Lincoln, NE and David Wenzl of Pawnee City, NE.; and his in-laws, Mary Dinges, Marilyn Wenzl and Joanne Wenzl.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A rosary was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St John the Apostle Catholic Church (7601 Vine St, Lincoln, NE 68505).
