With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lou Petska of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Though Lou may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lou touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lou Petska and Lois Petska; and his sister Betty Lindley. He is survived by: his wife Valorie Bendixen; and his children, Chris Petska (Kelly), Corinne Rogers (Bart), Matt Lehechka (May) and Sara Petska (Chris). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, as well as many other friends and family.
