She is survived by: her parents, Larry Melichar and Jamie Melichar; her siblings, Shelley Schroeder (Scott), Ashley Francisco (Chad) and Matt Melichar (Lindsey); and her nieces and nephews, Tyler Waddell, Madison Mueller, Alexa Schroeder, Lily Schroeder, Alivia Francisco, Addison Francisco, Cooper, Myles and Reid Melichar.

A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the CST Roper & Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
