It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leslie John Helms of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Helms and Deede Helms; his grandmother Margaret Helms; his parents-in-law, Donna Robinson and Harvey Robinson; his brother-in-law Alan Robinson; and his uncle Leo Kunkel.

He is survived by: his wife Lana Helms; his children, Tammy Helms and Brian Helms (Angie Frain); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Merrick (Doug), Trever Helms (Deanna Allen), Tyler Helms (Shelby Coil) and Brea Helms; his great grandchild Tatum Lee; and his sisters, Kathleen Oltman and Nancy Schoneweis (Fred). He is also survived by numerous cousins, other family members, and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Wyuka Funeral Home (3600 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
