He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Hawkins and Elizabeth Hawkins (Scheele); his daughter Kate Williams; his girlfriend Peggy Keane; his grandson Preston Hawkins; and his niece Charlsie Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Cass Salmon (Matt) of Omaha, Nicole Hawkins of Omaha, Samantha Hawkins (Taylor Prather) of Reno, Nevada and Woody Hawkins (Erin) of Beatrice; his stepdaughter Brandy Burkhart (Jeff) of Reno, Nevada; and his siblings, Tom Hawkins, Jr. (Kathie) of Southern Pines, NC, Deb Hawkins of Beatrice, Pam Norton (Steve) of Beatrice, Chris Morris (David) of Beatrice, Liz DeBuhr (Dale) of Beatrice and Monica Goetz (Steve) of Mt. Washington, KY. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
