He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "David" Carroll and Helen Carroll (Heller); and his brother Loren Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Carol Carroll; his daughters, Beth McCreight (Chad) of Lincoln and Amy Gonser (David) of Waverly; his grandsons, Josh, Alec, William and Caleb Gonser; his brother Don Carroll (Mary) of Stanton; and his aunt Joyce Heller of Stanton. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, and many other extended family.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (5200 R St, Lincoln, NE 68504).
