He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Geis and Louise Geis. He is survived by: his wife Kay Geis; his children, Todd Geis (Carrie), Tamara Geis (David Tarrence), Tim Geis (Tiffany) and Cheryl Pavey (Eric); his grandchildren, Tayler Shaw (Joseph), Zane Geis (Elizabeth), Nathan Geis (Hunter), Jackson Pavey, Seth Pavey and Carson Geis; and his great grandchildren, Ariella, Tommy and Atreus. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

The family wishes memorials to the First Plymouth Congregational Church or Food Bank of Lincoln.
