She was loved and cherished by many people including: her brother-in-law Paul Bailey; her pets, Heidi and Maizy; her husband Gary Kitt; her parents, Clarence Schweitzer, and Elizabeth Schweitzer, Sr.; and her siblings, CJ Schweitzer, Jr. (Mary), Daniel Schweitzer (RoseMary) and Eileen Bailey.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Covenant Community Church (6000 S 84th St, Lincoln, NE 68516).
