Karlene left this world on January 15, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Wickizer and Cleo Wickizer (Denbo); her siblings, Ted, Beverly, Gordon and Linda; her granddaughter Katrina; and her sons-in-law, Jerry Wissink and John Galaviz.
She is survived by: her children, Peri Wissink, Tara Galaviz, Shadi French, Misty Dryden (William) and Tom Hughes (Jessica); and her sister Sherry Wright. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (5200 R St, Lincoln, NE 68504).
