She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marvin Giittinger and Murrilla Giittinger; her husband Clark Lowe; and her children, Brian (Amy), Jeremy (Hallie), Andrew (Megan), Shelley Haxton (Rick), Michael (Ashley), Matthew (Dani) and James (Ilsa). She was also cherished by 19 grandchildren, her parents and 5 siblings.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home (6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512).
