She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Hanefeldt and Edith Hanefeldt (Moran); and her brother-in-law Jim Goetzinger. She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Goetzinger; her nephew Eric Goetzinger (Christine); her great-nephew Ethan Goetzinger; and her great-niece Allison Goetzinger of Omaha. She is also survived by second cousins and many friends.
For a number of years, Judy volunteered recording books and magazines for the Blind at Christian Record Braille Foundation and the Nebraska Library Commission.
