He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Doney Appleget and Neva Faith Appleget (Huber); his spouse Shirley Appleget (Whittaker); and his siblings, Richard Baxter Appleget, Sara Anne "Sally" Finck (Appleget) and Mary Alice Traubel (Appleget).
He is survived by: his sons, Jon Appleget (Mary) of Colorado Springs, Andrew Appleget (Carin) of Lincoln and Thomas Appleget (Angie) of Lincoln. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
