He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan F. Schroeder and Alice A. Schroeder; and his siblings, Larry Schroeder, Shirley Lape (John) and Janice Schroeder.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Schroeder; his children, Dan Schroeder (Shauna) of Lincoln, NE and Katie Mellen (David) of Shawnee, KS; his grandchildren, Aidan, Leo and Jake Mellen; his siblings, Jim Schroeder (Vicki) and Judy Johnson (Randy); and his siblings-in-law, Kate Schroeder and Tom Gross (Pat). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
