It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann Marie (Vogel) Starks of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Vogel and Marie Vogel; her husband Surn Starks; her sister Marjorie (Harold); her niece Colleen (Dave); her parents-in-law, Richard and Margaret; and her siblings-in-law, Crain, Stavan and Terrill.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Frank), Jeanine (Randy), Blake (Kris), Todd, Amy (Dan), Chad (Deidre) and Tedica (Jason); her brother Ron (Loyla); and her siblings-in-law, Leonda (Larry), Lafran (Rodger), Tammie (Bob) and Vonn. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Alzheimer's Association, Sumner Place Skilled Nursing Facility, or Sunken Gardens.
