James Hewitt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2024, at the age of 91, James Hewitt of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Hastings, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe S. Hewitt and Willa Hewitt (Watt); his brother William; and his son Will. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Mary J. Hewitt (Lincoln), John C. Hewitt (Elizabeth Hansen) and Martha Livingston (Chris); and his pet Mondo. He is also survived by six grandsons, one great-granddaughter.
